Hi Guys,

Add your Celebrity themed doll pics to this discussion using the 'image' icon on the far left of the discussion tool bar.

The 'rules' of the theme photo competition are very simple:
  • Your photo must contain a doll or dolls
  • Make sure the photo relates to the spirit of the relevant month's theme
  • Members should enter one photo only per theme (although you are free to add more but please highlight which particular photo you would like to go forward into the competition)
  • Make sure to have fun!
Doll hugs,
Simon XX

Oh gosh, fun theme, but complicated..! Somehow I don't see my Pam dolls portraying celebrities. I might have to break my 'Pam photos only in the theme of the month contest'-rule and use other dolls.. or.. do we have to portray a particular celebrity, or can the picture also be celebrity-ish? Like glamour diva style?
Beautiful pic Frances, so pleased you added it to the group. I love the use of props :)

here my version of Golden Calendar 1955

As I am not really a celbrity fan (neither people nor dolls, I should add) I was kind of puzzled about this challenge. Until Blondie (Gene. Mel Odom) naked on my sewing corner (waiting for some new outfits) reminded me that, she was a Marylin admirer. so as naked as she was....why not a calendar?

I have chosen the "modest "version as blondie is still quite shy

Sheena, your Rudolph Valentino is just...just..Sumptuous!!  I love it

Sheena, you place your picture on your computer, (on the desktop if you want) and remenber the name (it's always the most difficulte for me hee hee)
you open Doll Obs and this page

you click on the little image icon, (second from left) in the gray bar, that you can see just over my text.

a window will open asking you "from my computer"/from URL

and under it the action "browse"

I hope this can help

I had the same problem a first, and Simon helped me, so I just give back what was given to me

Dolly cheers

Thanks. (I can't seem to make the picture show up like the others on this site.)  I like your Marilyn.  Such a clever idea!

This is Rudolph Valentino, who starred in "Son of the Sheik" in 1926. Too old, you say? He still looks pretty good to me!

here he is!!  love Rudolf Valentino , Pierre (my father) whant Dom to make a costume like this one, as Marie (my mom) love costumes and disguises. So I think dom will be very inspired by yours hee hee
