One (or actually, two) of Ellowyne's best features are her gorgeous eyes. But, not owning one and only judging from pictures, there seem to be different types of eyes. Some are made of glass and some are painted on, am I right..?

There clearly seems to be a difference between these for example:

Are the dolls with painted-on eyes generally cheaper..?

Yes, there IS a difference in the eyes you've shown, but the dressed dolls, inset eyes OR painted are generally the same range of prices(mostly more expensive if more elaborate clothing is included) the newer dolls seem to be mostly inset eyes, which I prefer. The painted eyes are beautiful with alot of character but the inset eyes have more of a "gazing ball" effect. But if you look on Wilde Imagination.com  in the Basic Dolls section, you'll find them not only equally priced but cheaper than the dressed dolls and with the inset eyes! This way YOU can provide her with fabulous Ebay frocks to model, which is my favorite way to go!   :)

(ALL these girls are Wiggable and run about $115.00)

Thank you for your replies, somehow I missed them earlier..!

I'm not too fond of Amber and Prudence, Ellowyne herself is the one for me. :) My favourite would have soft peachy lips and blue eyes. I love the lips of the girl with the black wig and the eyes of the blondie. Lol! Although I think with a different wig, a bit less dark, the black wigged girl could look absolutely gorgeous. Right now I believe her eyes are a bit too much... Perhaps with a blonde wig they'd stand out less..? And yes, I noticed that these basic dolls are 'only' $115. I don't care about the outfits that much, since I'd love to buy one of those homemade dresses anyway :). And I've also seen lots of nice shoes!

Yes, I think whatever doll is, most painted eyes dolls are more cheaper than inset ones! With Ellowyne, I like her with both eyes! Of course, she looks far more amazing with glass eyes...but it's not all doll collectors who can afford such doll...so it's a good thing to think of everyone for a larger budget!

hi.

Yes, some have glass eyes and some have painted eyes, I have one with glass and two with painted eyes. I love both  types.
