Bit torrents is a great idea. I know about, but I have never been able to figure out how to actually use it get anything. It would be worth it to get the last season, however, it was not that great true, but it had it's moments of being interesting and some of the music videos were very good.

I have watched the Stingers episodes but was not keen on them at all, I didn't really like Riot at all as a love interest for Jem

Jetta is introduced in the third season which is on the dvd set. But, it's hard to get the dvd set now, it's out of print. What was on the last season were the episodes involving the Stringers. I don't think the Stringers were such a good idea, but it was said to be a reaction to parents not liking the Misfits. I don't think they would have liked the Stingers much more. The Stingers also resulted in substantially less screen time for the Misfits.

I love Britrock, I had it on VHS as a kid, I had never seen Jetta or heard oof her until then as they didn't release the doll in the UK! Have you tried keep-tube? Its very simple http://keep-tube.com/ . I have ripped all my DVD's with DVDFab too, thats also a pretty easy DVD ripper but you only get 30 days with the free trail

However, one feels silly to do that work for a low quality copy, if later they do release the series on dvd.

I managed to save some copies of the finale season of Jem when they were posted to you tube as videos, but what I have is incomplete, and I can't save you tube programs any longer. There was a software that would save the you tube vidoes as tiny movies you could play later on your computer in case the you tube file was deleted. I should have saved vsh tapes, but at the time all the episodes were being shown out of order, so would have been a nightmare of disorganization. I now have something that will convert a vsh tape into a computer file so it can be burned to a dvd or backed up. The pinnacle dvd dazzler. It's a interface that allows you to upload vhs to your computer. But, of course, now I don't have the vhs tapes. If they would reboardcast the finale season, I would tivo it, save it to vhs and then convert it.
