In 1986 Hasbro released, what for me, is the best doll collection ever; Jem! There were good Girls (Jem & The Hologams) and Bad Girls (The Misfits), a cartoon and they even came with their own casette tape of music. What else could you possibly ask for?

I guess you have to watch for ebay, I saw a takara jenny knock off posing as a barbie sweet sixteen, and claiming to be a sealed box. But, even the box was an incorrect box.

I have another comment about Glitter n Gold Jem. If you look at this ebay item 360299206710, it said this is the second series of Glitter n Gold Jem. I only have the second one, if there is indeed a first series. I want to get the first one now. I did not know a first series existed. Some Glitter n Gold Jems do look better then others. I don't like the purple blush, the make up is sort of too dark, I liked the other Jems with a more pink makeup. It looked younger and fresher. I had one I bought mint and it got stolen when I invited some people to my house to see my Jems, so I found a thrift store Jem, but she is not very nice. I would like to find a first series one, if the makeup was lighter, and the hair was not trashed and tangled.

I finally tracked it down on ebay and I think it's Splash 'n Color Barbie - Mattel 1994
But, I can't quite be sure.

I looked for beach smth Barbie, but it did not yield anything, I can't believe I missed that doll when it came out. I kept looking at Barbies until the started the new Barbie concept with the very small eyes.
