@ Nano:

It's not obvious for me to describe more the yarn I am using. they are for most , left over from other work and I do not have the labels anymore. I hope the pictures will help. cotton usually is good but you need quite a lot for a coat or a dress but certainly enough for a t-shirt. let me know how it's going and if you need any (simple) help I will be more than happy to be usefull

this dress (soon to be posted on the doll) was made with sock yarn

my grand mother used to knit sock for my grand-pa and this is some (very old) left over yarn.

those 2 coats where made with the same kind of yarn  I am not to positive about the name but I think it's "eyelash yarn" the stitch when using this as to be the simplest possible as any "fantasy" would be lost in the furry effect.

this is a dress with a front zipper. (I will post a pic on the doll shortly) Menise made it with a 100% cotton yarn (I bought this cotton here in Spain at a cheap Chinese store ($store or bazaar)

the yarn is pink and the dress was made with the same (but red)yarn

I made this skirt for Davina with a fine acrylic yarn  it's a bit shiny but it feels like cotton (I am always using the tiniest meddles)

Lilly is presenting a sweater and hand bag made with white Baby yarn

it is a very soft and fine yarn that should be quite easy to find

trying to answer Nano's question about the kind  of yarn to use for doll'knit

I will post some pic/yarn to show you the kind Menise or me are using
when Knitting for the gang (all 16"size dolls)

Fabio's brown sweater was made  with yarn from "cone" we (Menise & I) bought some years ago in a big clothing factory sale (this kind of tread is used for wool or jersey machine embroidery . they often came in 2 play and we have to separate them before starting. it is quite a long work but it worth it as the scale of the finished garment is good.
