I thought I would share some of my tricks for using fabric glue without having it show through the material. I had my daughter help me out with some photos. I put all of the instructions (in photos) in one of my photo albums. Here is how the glue should look before you fold the pieces together:

I think I should still have one around in my scrapbook (hundred)boxes and will maybe just steal your idea

Lilly, sorry, just saw this and I haven't figured out how to respond directly to your post.  The Kokopelli came ... I think .. from Michael's.  I had it just hanging around waiting to get used, and thought this necklace would be a good chance to do just that.

Last night I almost super glued a doll to my hand!

Enjoying this thread, so many creations to view. Love the retro colour scheme of your outfit Marilyn!

@Anne I found the fabri tac on ebay (UK) thanks for the tip! Looks like it might work for accessories as well. Last year I resorted to cutting up the necks of balloons to make tiny elastic bands to hold home made handbags shut and shoes on my doll's feet as the glue I had wasn't strong enough and I am somewhat frightened of super glue (images of standing in queue at A&E with doll glued to hand )

Lilly, my compliments to you on the Gene dresses.  I have only made that first one that you show, but I do have the other patterns, and your wonderful fabric choices have tempted me to sew them!   ... Someday.
