I got my Millenium Ball Tyler on EBay, but she was nude. I tried several times to buy her outfit on eBay, but always get outbid... So I went and got me some silver lame and made my own!It was frustrating! And it's not perfect. But from a distant…Read More

yes flower are nor necessary bad for men shirts, Hawaii style shirts are quite suitable and cheerful for men.
flowery with a plain complement color works well too . I found our men aren't too happy to wear dull colors all the time
Comment by Kate Fosk on November 3, 2011 at 8:31 Love the pose! You have given me an idea. Someone just donated some flowery material in the hope of me giving my action men some trousers...but a shirt might work!
Lol Mary-Beth
if by Ladies man "you mean lot of them.
..so yes he is!! hee hee
Romanticism for him is only to be sing. as he is the singer in a Mariachi band all the ladies are falling for him you'll got competition
Comment by Mary Beth Jennings on November 2, 2011 at 20:45 Oooh, I would totally hit on this guy.. if he were real! Is "Carlos" a real "Ladies Man?" LOL
thanks a lot Kate,
I really appreciate and I am very (sincerely) honored about my pics on your desktop, it is as a little bit of myself was coming into your place
I am myself very inspired by being here. since I joined dollObs I took back a dip interest in my Gang. I was not sewing to much for them anymore, relying on the clothes I made some time ago to play with them. then I join (almost 2 year ago now!! ) and bang!! Simon started the photo challenge it make me going back to my sewing machine and now I miss when I am 1 day without it hee hee. I got plenty of ideas (for the men right now) and my lovely hubby buy Esquire mag. just to encourage a bit more

Comment by Kate Fosk on November 1, 2011 at 19:48 I hope you realise how inspiring your wonderful photos are Lilly. I have the last one on my desk top now. Stunning, love the pockets.
Even in Chihuahua the winter in harsh and Carlos needed a warm jacket.
Yeah! finally after 11 days, i received my brads today!.I have ordered them in France and although the order has been treated quickly, my package went from one post office to another between France and Spain. I discovered some time ago that the very small brads placed on a sporty outfit gave a good illusion of real snaps, but as I have to place the brads before sewing the snaps (inside the garment) in place I had to wait the arrival of my parcel.
now that everything in order, I will place pictures regularely again!!
Today Carlos is quite elegant with a Burberry like shirt and light beige jeans
as usual you 'll have more pics in my blog
Lol!! Kate, maybe this shirt was found in a pirate treasure chest?? I love your sens of humor it does help a lot while sewing (believe me on this one :)
we always have to learn while sewing. I hated when I had to un-stitch some mistake I made ,but my sweet Grand-ma told me once -"doing ..and undoing is working anyway"so we learn with each stitch
never despair. look at my blog (the first pages) and you will see how fare I came from.
I am glad if I could have been of some help
