I got my Millenium Ball Tyler on EBay, but she was nude. I tried several times to buy her outfit on eBay, but always get outbid... So I went and got me some silver lame and made my own!It was frustrating! And it's not perfect. But from a distant…Read More

I like the Tonner male quite a lot I should say (except the butt :) but sure I would love to have a man for my Lizbeth with as much articulations the she does. what is bothering me the most is the more articulations, the more fragile they are.
I play with my Gang a lot and little by little some join become brittle. My Lilly 's shoulder is broken (she is at her second body! if only I could do the same with mine hee hee)
plus I would love my dolls to be able to kneel properly. the Mme Alexander doll who have, as well, lot of articulations cannot kneel I have cut the back of Yoko's knees ((see Mme butterfly) but still no improvement. i think we are quite demanding hee hee
Comment by Marilyn Allen on February 8, 2012 at 19:36 Lilly, I keep hoping that Horsman will do a male doll for the Urban Vita line. I like the Tonner guys, but find the bodies don't move as well as I'd like them to. It seems to be hard for anyone to come up with a really successful male doll in the 16" category. For some reason most of them look too feminine for my taste.
@Marilyn: my thought exactly Marilyn, even if I thought about this...after it was done
yeah you noticed the ab eh? those guys are so gorgeous !! I do regret though that R. Tonner didn't make them a nice butt, it is kind of flat and does not fillt he pant properly
Comment by Marilyn Allen on February 8, 2012 at 14:13 The t-shirt seems to have worked perfectly. The fleece might have been too heavy to work in this small a size, don't you think? Looks like their work-outs are keeping them in good shape!
after their friendly Karate competition our 2 friends relax with a glass of Beaujolais.
I used a pajama pattern and as I could not find fleece, I use and old T-shirt
as usual more pics in my blog
Thanks Marilyn they are tired now and still good friends :)
