a Karateka suit I made for my best friend Anne. She offered me and articulate Mme alexander doll (for my Yoko doll who was kind of stiff to play Mme butterfly ) in exchange, Anne ask me if i can sew some stuff for her (this is a kind of deal we had in the past) she wanted a karate suit for her new Japanese guy (tonner's Yoshio) she bought recently. here it is, I used a 100% white cotton and a pajama pattern from Vogue Craft (# 7516)
I have transformed the neckline for the top and finished it with a strong border
the pant are withe a cord at the waist
it is presented here by Fabio (Matt from Tonner)
I bought tiny buttons this size in Walmart (Canada) and as well in Michael's Canada and USA (I assume possible on line) they are 4mm and very good for Tonner's as well.
Comment by Deborah Steinmetz on February 5, 2012 at 16:19 Thanks for the picture Kate! I think the ones I've been seeing are all 6mm, just just look too big. I'll be looking for 4mm ones!
You know you would think that fabric manufacturers would rewash their fabrics after dyeing them to make sure all the excess dye is gone.
