here is what I have finished today
it is a full 3 pieces suit made of fine burgundy wool fabric.
the same printed silk (100%) was used for the shirt, the back/lining of the vest, the lining of the jacket as well as the lining of the pant 's pockets and belt.
the plain tie is of 100% silk

as usual, more pics and details in my blog

never despair! clothes have definitely life on their own, & not only yours believe me!!:)  My sewing machine too ( and + she is quite a character !!!) but still I do have fun.

some time, the beginning for a shirt finely ended as night gown and pants becoming shorts, and dress coming from the sewing machine...directly to the garbage!! yeah yeah I had some difficult moments too hee hee

Oo I like ridiculously much! I have your pattern shot as my desktop image now as inspiration. The pirate shirt I am making for action man is taking on a life of its own. I carry both it, and my tiny sewing machine around with me to crafting workshops, and 'I never wanted to be a pirate anyway nobody asked me' action man seems to travel round the room being stared at and asked impertinent questions such as 'is that dirt or chest hair?'. Today the top looks like an oversized choirboy's gown.

this is the suit I finished today.
working for men takes a bit longer , as I have to sew a lot by hand , or prepare by hand the seams I will sew with the sewing machine. the full suit is made in cotton natural with a fine dark blue line.
the shirt and tie are 100% silk.
the jacket is fully lined.
as usual more pics in my blog

I am using this "desings by Jude"pattern do make Fabio's suits.

making the vest, it appears a bit too big, so I will reduce the side/back/shoulders for the next one.

as the fabric is light grey polyester I think it best to lined it with fusible interfacing.

the fabric is of very fine and tiny stripped grey (this make a strange picture though)

a closer look. I do not have enough fabric for the jacket so this one will stay as is.

the tie is 100% silk

the vest is totally lined (+ fusible) the buttons are scrapbook brads.

I 've made the shirt some time ago
