some time is good to stop working hee hee.

I do iron each seam one by one when they are still flat, when it is difficult, like sleeve, I hand stitch before ironing, then remove the stitch, (this take for ever but for the suits  it needs to be neat

I agree,Mary Beth's  tip is very good

I just saw Mary beth's tip for t-shirts, somehow missed it before....what a great idea.

Dang now I'm looking at patterns instead of working :) They look very high quality designs, suspect it would be quite tricky to get the seams & joins flat on such a small scale, I am impressed with the challenge.

In between all sorts of other things I am making a frilly pirate shirt for an action man.

I thought I'd share a quick tip: You can make really awesome graphic tees by making a plain white tee, and applying temporary tattoos to the front. I found my temporary tattoo booklets on amazon, you can find everything forom samurai warriors to celtic designs, fairies, mermaids, hummingbirds, pirates... well, you get the idea. ;)

I used here the same pants pattern : design by Jude, now at this Web site, http://www.fletcherpatterncompany.com/index.php?act=viewCat&cat...

this short isn't presented as pattern but I used the pants pattern and shortened it. I cut the fabric and placed the pockets by eyes. I sew them by hand, then by machine to be sure they were in the right place. the buttons are scrapbooking embellishments.

for the T-shirt I used another T-shirt as pattern. it's open in the back and closed with a snap.

the boxer short is made with the same light jessey as usual, 2 eyelets allow a cord at the belt.

the T-shirt is in very light (and a bit transparent) brown jersey. I had to sew it, all by hand as the fabric seems too delicat and slipery for my sewing machine.

the Hawaiian shirt is made of jersey and the short in made of cotton (I used the same pants pattern for the short and cut the shirt by eyes (i didn't sew any snaps as it's meant to stay open)
