I made this Monster High school house for my niece...she loves it! We do a webshow using the house on our YouTube channel gingerlola. You can also find tutorials and more house tours on our channel and blog.
Hi everyone! I joined this group long time ago but I haven't posted anything yet. This year my partner and I decided to start a dollhouse project for our MH dolls, and we thought that we could make it using wood, but I've seen that some of you use cardboard with really good results.
Unfortunately, our project has been a little bit stuck, due to lack of time reasons (we both have been sick, plus I started a new job) but now we're working on it again on sundays. We're working on some furniture and other accesories, but I hope we start with the house soon. This is such a big project and I hope it doesn't turn to nothing in the end, because in september I'll go back to university (and I'll be both working and studying) so I won't have the time. Wish me luck
@valerie- it is very fun, and actually kind of relaxing to use the paper mache, i'm getting to excited tho, and already worrying about decorating...i found a super cute vintage wall paper for the kitchen on etsy....
@ginger lola-first of all, GREAT NAME! (from a fellow ginger) i am using paper mache over a broken townhouse from the 70's. i love to re-claim and up-cycle materials as much as possible!!!
I can't wait to see your house when its done, are you doing paper mache?
I make dollhouses as well and I use cardboard and paper mache.
Your house project is very exciting, andy!
Looking good @andy! Morgon seems to be very pleased with the progress
