I did buy a couple at that time, A Ballerina and a Gymnast I think. I don't care to collect them but it's interesting to know they made it to Russia :)

I discovered older Sindies when I was a grown-up and a doll collector already. Hasbro Sindies were almost as popular as Barbies in early 1990s when the international doll market hit post-soviet Russia :) so I couldn't resist and bought myself a "Sindy and GoGo", the most desired Sindy doll of that period. But I want no more :)

After they changed Sindy (For the 3rd time) in 1988 I totally lost interest and was also a little bit too old for them. She did look too much like Barbie and lost all her charm.

How sweet they are! These Sindys seem to be more special than later versions of Barbie-like girls.
