Birthday Barbie

This Barbie was given to my granddaughter for her 4th birthday. She loves pink, so I chose a doll with long pink hair. I used a spandex knit print with pink flowers to make a sarong style dress for the doll, one that wraps and ties in front so that there are no difficult fasteners for small hands to fight with. She loved it!

Actually, I did make a pattern for this, so that I could duplicate it if I wanted.  I'll see if I can find where I stashed it when we moved.

do all the little girls love pink? my 3 grand-daughters love it too
