Adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice"

One of my favourite English novels is now being adapted on my website. You can read every Tuesday the next episode of this famous novel.

I just posted the first 2. The next two will go up perhaps tomorrow. It takes a lot of time because I explain how to make everything. I had a GREAT time with this project (but then don't we all enjoy our dolls). After everything had been posted, I'll post my Gatsby adaptations here on Doll Observers.

You, my dear, also seem to be having a blast with your dolls' wardrobes. The black collection is really nice. It was the Barbie Basics #1 edition with their chic little black dresses that got me addicted to collecting dolls!!!!

Hello, dear.

I am very eager to see your Great Gatsby adaptation.

Your other posts are so inspiring, as well!

It's so nice to share the same interest, right?

Sorry to take so long to say thank you on my end for both the link and the tweet, but I've been working all day long putting the finishing touches on my Great Gatsby mini-collection. It is so nice of you to link to my blog (and not at all expected). I look forward to your next adaptation as well as a long friendship. This is so much fun!!!!

Oh, darling! Thank you so much! I feel deeply flattered that you shared my experiences with others, who are interested in fashion!

As a "Thank you" I also put the link to your site on my sidebar in "Barbie on other sources"!

I hope we can continue our online friendship.

By the way, this year at the end, I'm going to publish my long-planned "The Tudors" mini-series. It will happen at the end of this year, I'm preparing the costumes now. It's so fascinating!

Thank you, dear! It is very nice of you to mention me on your site.

Costume history is surely far from boring! And the redressed dolls can show perfectly anything we would like to show!

I did, indeed took a look at your website. Would very much love to mention you in an upcoming posting on my blog on the theme "dolls as teaching aids." Last month someone from the last school where I taught posted pictures of dolls (some handmade--as many of the students are poor) in crinoline dresses with the caption, "Who says costume history has to be boring." The instructor allowed them to present their report in the form of dressed dolls. How clever is that teacher!!!!!

Oh, dear Fashion Doll Stylist,
You could not have made a better compliment. Thank you so much, darling!
You know, I thought so, too.
For my final English exam at the university I had chosen all Jane Austen novels. While preparing, I had this idea, that after the exam would be over, I had to make these adaptations, because we love Jane Austen not only for her text, but also for the fashion, right?
I hope, You've seen my "Emma" (http://barbiefantasies.com/emma-premiere/), too. It has better photo quality, than "Pride and Prejudice". So, don't hesitate to look.

Barbie Fantasies, what exquisite taste you have in dolls. They are really gorgeous. How original to set them to prose. This could be most helpful in a school setting, you know.
