That is really a shame. These dolls aren't cheap and really shouldn't have defects like that.

It's a shame us humans can't buy ourselves new bodies. I could certainly do with replacing mine these days LOL!!

No, I couldn't get the marks off and since she is considered a "retired doll" I was unable to get a replacement body under her warrenty so now I will have to purchase a new body. A new body cost just a few dollars less than what I purchased her for.

Oh no nightmare! Did you manage to get the marks off or did you get a replacement? I have heard of staining issues from black clothes before. It can be a real issue it seems.

Harmful YES, when I purchased my fr Kyori doll it took forever to get her from her box (lol) and when I finally did I took off her robe and it had left huge blue marks on one leg, arm and hand. I was not a happy camper!

Yes I think I remember her from around that time and seeing her on one of my regular trips to the toy shops. I agree about removing from the box. It seems such a waste to not release them! The packaging these days is so harmful to the doll too sometimes not to mention almost impossible to get them out lol!

Thanks for wanting to see pics, I believe she was release in 1994. I purchased her NIB about 5 years ago off of ebay. I hate to see a doll still in the box so of course I just had to remove her. My favorite part is she has a real pair of pantalets and a hoop skirt on under the dress,lol.
