I made the shirt from custom printed silk on my printer. slacks are silk as well. Enlarged a Ken pattern for a 17" doll.

Comment by Valerie Myers on February 16, 2013 at 13:11 Thanks, Valerie. Once I found the silk printer sheets on line (at www.Dharmatrading.com) I had to try them. They feed into the ink jet printer like a piece of 8.5 x 11 paper and you can scan in any patterns you create or find and make your own prints. This is great for making small doll-size printed outfits and it is impossible to find much in the way of printed silk. You peel the backing off after printing and sew with the fabric as usual.
I've never heard of printing on silk before. That is a very unique outfit!
