Do it!!  I think you'd love it.  I haven't rerooted a head (yet), but I root wigs, and while it's time-consuming, and nothing that you can rush through, it's fun. Like meditation. You get in this Zen-like state sorting out the width of your plugs, threading your needle (I use a needle, not everybody does), pulling the hair through, making the knot, then starting all over again. Or, that could just be me.

If you start perusing the selection on dollyhair.com, it won't be 5 minutes until you're drooling all over your keyboard, and destroying your PayPal account. lol

I think he will indeed, as this loks a perfect job. I'd love to give rerooting a go as sometimes you find the perfect doll but the hair is just blah! :)

Xavier custom-blended at least 3 colors when he rerooted her, and left it uncut (it's almost down to her calves).  What I don't know is if it's Saran or Acetate...it has the tensile strength of Saran, but it is so glossy, silky and fine.  He's a newbie to the world of OOAK, but I think he'll go far.
