I love Hogyo Yoshio  and my husband prefer the basic version (maybe a male thing hee hee)

the new female are beautiful as well,  my gang is in real need of new ethnic member   but I am still waiting for Basil right now as I have only 1 African girl

funny you should mention Mei Li... I was just talking about her a few hours ago with my best friend!

What do you think of that gorgeous Japanese Male doll Tonner is producing this year? I especially want the Basic version with his goatee!

I don`t have many Tonner dolls. I like his work, but I think he goes in too many directions at the same time and I can`t keep track anymore. I think he has more doll characters and series than Mattel now!

I can enderstand this, I like the Wu dolls though but they were like "another doll"it alway disturb me when a creator change a doll face but not her name , and it is what happen for Gene  & Co.

Tonner (whom I love) does this as well, I loved the 1st  Mei li but not the new one he created under the same name. but as you say it is a good way for us to save monney for something else

Well believe me, I am actually quite relieved they are not produced anymore. It actually gives a special "limit" to collecting. I don`t have to worry anymore on what`s coming next so I can concentrate on what I have missed. Anyway as I didn`t like Madra (and Gene) when IT/Jason Wu was making them, That saved me a fortune!
