When I was 9 and begged my mother to get me the new Stacy Barbie with all that gorgeous red hair, she bought me one for Christmas. Unfortunately they came out with a Stacy with short curled hair that year, and she got me that one, not knowing it wasn't the one I wanted. She also bought me the wig set, so in disgust I took off the Stacy doll head and used the wig head for my Barbie instead. I still have her after all these years and still like her punk hairstyle. In this photo she wears a gown and jacket set I made for her many years ago.
