The souvenir from the Renaissance museum trip. I really don't know where the design came from, but Mrs. Moreau had the design commisioned based on an actual design from the Renaissance.

as I can translate the text on your picture.

-the original drawing  (top left) was made by F. Dujardin, queen's  jeweler/goldsmith.

-right is the design from Catherine de Medicis (the queen consort of France  in 1549

-the reproduction you got, was made by Marcia (beautifully done I should ad)
