Swinging Lady

I made this OOAK swing with a piece of wood and some twined hemp from the craft store. It’s hanging from the ceiling of my "Barbie den", in between my doll display cabinets. It’s currently occupied by a re-bodied Barbie® Basics Model No. 03 Collection 002 (Steffie face mold) wearing a green halter gown from Eaki Doll Studio and original earrings, which I also made.

Thank you Deb, Leonella and Susan!  I got the idea of constructing the swing after I put the gown on her! I wanted her to model the dress while sitting, but at the same time, I wanted to convey how long the dress is.  This was the solution.

You're a genius! And what a perfect way to showcase that gorgeous new gown too! She's divine!
