hee hee I am still a bit puzzled about this last model I love it very much but I think I will have to adapt it a bit to the stuff I have around  we have black plastic tube (from auto- watering plant system) the size is +- the same than the other armchair in the Eden Café (the cd rack). maybe if I introduce a strong wire inside I could use it as arms?? of course they will be curved, but I can still manage to built the chair like the red one and add arms in curved black plastic

Well, when I told you to add armrests I was thinking of thick wire, but I don't think that will work with that particular model. I'm not an expert, but maybe you could mold it with something like polimer clay and glue it to the two pieces of wood that would be the seat. You should ask someone who knows better how this material works. Good luck

@ monster craft

I was not really inspired in the time I made them, and now with time passing by...I like them less and less (this happen some time hee hee) rounded armrest is a good idea but I am thinking that maybe I will do something like those chairs, realy love them  (in black of course) I did not figure out how to do the arms any idea??

I know what tipe of wood you're talking about, I think my grandad used to have his tools hanging on something like that.

Well, it's true that for me they look more minimalistic than art deco, but despite that,I like how those chairs look like, and how the whole thing looks together.Anyway, it's your design and it's up to you. Maybe you don't need to do new ones, just add something to make they look more art deco, like for example rounded armrests or something like that.

here you have another view of the chair Monster Craft,  I do not know the name for this kind of particle wood with hole in it  . it is used in garage and such to hang tools .

I had some left over pieces and used that, but I will make other chairs, as those do not correspond very well to the general art deco style of the  Eden cafe .

Thanks! I couldn't tell if that was wood or cardboard. And I love the idea of using a CD holder to make a chair. You are very resourceful!

@ monster craft. the chairs and table in front are made with wood particle . the chairs are glued  on top of a jar lid

back inside the Cafe , the chair are actually CD holder , I have only added the cushion (made with an old handbag)

I love it! Did you make the chairs yourself?
