Comment by Deb Buckner on February 11, 2013 at 11:08 Hi Deb! Nope, wasn't my sari...Chris finds lots of treasures. He sends me shots each step of the way when he's creating a dress and it's so much fun watching it come together.

WOW! And they're hand-stitched to boot!! I think I'm in love...
I do a lot of hand stitching too, it's like meditation.
Oh, the story of the gold dress is so special.
Sari fabric is so incredibly lush. Was it his Sari and yours? Close-ups of the dress, please, Sister!

Comment by Deb Buckner on February 5, 2013 at 1:07 Awww thank you Sister Deb!
The dresses were actually a gift from my very dear friend Chris Stoeckel. Chris is the designer of Victoire Roux for Integrity Toys. He hand stitched these dresses for me and I love him for each and every stitch! Not sure where he obtained the crimson fabric...but the gold dress was crafted from a vintage sari that contained actual gold threads. I'm so thrilled you like them! xoxoxo

HOLY CRAP, SISTER DEB!!! That lovely crimson dress reminds me of vintage kimono fabric!! Wherever did you get it?!
This entire picture is amazing, btw.
