Well, I recently recieved my first vintage Ken doll. He is a blonde painted hair Ken from probably 1961 or 1962. As with everything doll related, I won him on Ebay for really good price. I was thrilled to find out that he came from the collection of someone who was a manager at Mattel in the mid 1960's. I have a question, does anyone know if there is an articulated body (any company) that matches the slim vintage Ken bodies? I am thinking I might want to swap out the stiff bodies of my vintage reproduction Kens. They would still need to be able to fit vintage clothing though. Any ideas on this?See More

Hello all,
My name is Chris. I am almost 35 years old, and from Houston Texas. I found this site when I googled Houston Dolls Shows. I was very glad to see that a site like this exists. I have been interested in dolls ever since I was a little boy. Even though back then, it was not proper for a boy to want a Barbie doll. In fact, I never owned one until I was an adult.
