ABOUT ME

I have been obsessed with dolls since the age of four with the exception of a few years in my teens.  At that time I was under the impression that as you got older, you were not allowed to keep 'toys' and that your interests moved onto things such as mending, cooking, tea  and cat collecting etc.. Theres nothing wrong with that, but I always wondered why you had to 'grow up' and toss away something that was so dear to you.  I saw the light when I was in my first year of college and started meeting individuals who collected.  I started up again, luckily I did not throw out any of my old toys (I had kept them for if I decided to have a family).  And the rest is history...

In my friends circle, I am the only doll collector but they are all very supportive.  I mainly collect Jem and the Hologram dolls (even though I never got the chance to be part of the 80's) being born in '89.  On my journey's I have started holding onto Barbie pieces that interest me.  I occasionally sell to be able to continue on with my Jem collection.  If I sell anything of interest, I will be sure to post on here.

I also mend and restore vintage Barbie items.  I will post a few sometime.  My updates will be random as I am currently looking for a job *wish me luck*

I am very happy that I have found this site.  As I can now see other peoples lovely collections :)
