another world

My dolls provide another world in a sense.  The week is long sometimes and can be tiresome.  The stress tends to get to you, though we try to sail through.  At times the people you deal with on a daily basis can provide a struggle that you'd be happier without. There are plenty of good times also but on those days when you need to come home, stay home and just unwind...there are the dolls, standing beautiful and serene.  They neither ask or demand, they simply remain adorable and inviting.  They…See More

"So unique and realistic!  I love the emotion it portrays.  Dreamy, wistful, hopeful enveloped in a deep but not depressing, longing."

sliding affections...

I have a lot of Barbies, maybe around 100 but I find myself favoring the Gene, Tyler etc.. dolls so much more. It could be that they are so much easier to sew for. There is a grace and beauty to the gene/tyler dolls that as cute as Barbie can be , she just doesn't compare.  Not that I'm sending my Barbie's down the pike but they all remain downstairs while Gene and her wardrobe are upstairs for anyone to view and enjoy.  Seeing them there inspires me to make more clothes and keep saving for that…See More

It's been like waiting for Christmas, the last show was in October.  Call it an obsession...it…
