"Nina, what a neat link!  I would have never thought to carve out the eyes and replace them!  Hmmm I wonder if they make eyes small enough to fit into Barbie heads?  (I've tried repainting eyes and am terrible, and bet replacing…"

Tips on aligning "permanent" eyes?

My Evangeline Ghastly is in desperate need, she's totally wonky eyed (though careful photography can disguise it a bit). I know it can be done, as I saw a custom on ebay with changed eyes. The person had cut the back of the head to create a removable scalp so she could change and align the eyes.I plan on experimenting with a couple Liv dolls I have lying around, but wondered if anyone had attempted this and could give some suggestions?See More

"My MH Army! Ignore Evangeline there, she was just posed to show size. (It's hard sometimes to go through life as a 50 ft woman)"

"I'd love to see a picture of her with the pigtails down. I plan on removing them myself, though she will probably stay in her dark wig for a while. She's supposed to arrive today, so I'll try and get some pictures up if they manage to…"

Hello, all! I'm Nina and I'm new to Doll Observer. I used to be a strict Pullip collector and as such frequented Pullip boards, but I've started expanding my horizons and it has lead me here. I look forward to getting to know everyone as I start drooling over Integrity and Tonner, and amassing a more diverse personal collection alongside people who understand the importance of dolly diversity. Wonderful to meet you all!See More

"Fabulous, Deborah! I look forward to seeing them. Do you have a favorite girl? I collect all the ones I like, but I have a special place for Draculaura. She's the only one I'm going out of my way to collect every version."

A bit about myself...

I don't know when I started loving dolls, I just always have. I stopped collecting for a long time when I turned around 14 or 15, but picked it up again in my early 20s when I discovered the Pullip family. They became quite the obsession and while I've cooled on them a bit and expanded my horizons, they're still a huge part of my hobby life.

I own one Evangeline Ghastly and one Integrity, and can't wait to get more of both!

In addition to dolls like these which require a more sizable investment, I also collect Monster High, especially Draculaura, the vampire girl. They're just a fun entertainment, and it's always exciting to walk into a store and see what you might find!
