    Yes, this is a real treat! Unfortunately, there is nothing at the sales room that really caught my eye.....one doll at the FDA stand I really liked, but it was a OOAK and not for sale. I was devastated, as she is sooo beautiful!!

        Hello all! I just have arrived at my hotel room from the convention. It was VERY nice, and all the other attendees were helpful and pleasant. A young man introduced me to the creators of the Sybarites, and one of their friends gave me an outfit! I felt soo lucky and fortunate! In my photos, I have the convention Barbie doll and a photo of the outfit I received. I'll post more pictures later.

   Thanks for your concern everyone!

       Well, around 9:00 AM, we went to the salon where the conventino was being set up. We met with kathy, who said that she was calling our names around the lobby. I could not believe it-we were there, but we never heard our names! A very unfortunate situation. BUT she did give me the souvenir-photo on my blog

Wow, I hope your weekend there gets better after this, you haven't been lucky so far..! Hope the trip will be worth it in the end. Thinking of going myself next year, but it's so expensive, ouch... And I wonder just how useful it is for a 6" doll lover, hehe.

UPDATE #1

 

  I'm sure you are all wondering why I am posting a message so early--this is because  waited with my grandmother at the hotel lobby for 30 minutes, and no one appeared to be taking us to the Renaissance Museum. There was only one lady in the Novotel staff who even though there was going to be an outing to today. I was very disappointed, and I emailed kathy about this too. Hopefully she responds soon........:(
