The History of Travikis
The story of Travikis strarts in a time of geat trouble, and unhappiness.
1622, King Derik of Denmark sedused the princess of France, and on the day of her coranation to become queen of France he clamed the crown for himself. The country having no other choice but to accept their new monarch, and fear for the princesses life the people of France submided to his every wish. First he ordered a new palace to be built, the palace was called Bastille it was the largest palace in all of eastern euroupe, and almost bankruped the country. Next he desired to expand his new lands, he began attacking the neihboring countries without warning killing all that stood in his way. By some miracle he managed to take over germany. The wars calmed for a short time when the princess became pregnant with the kings child, he forced her to marry him so that he could clame the child that he swore that god had told him it was a boy, and the next heir to the throne of France. King Derik ordered grand balls and celebrations to be prepaired for the birth of his son. on the 14th of September 1625 the queen began her labor pains, for two days her horable screams of pain could be heard from all over the palace. The king began to suspect that the queen was trying to kill his heir, in his madness he grabbed a knife and ordered the queen to give birth to his son or he would cut him out himself. By morning the word had spread that the queen had delivered a child but it was not the boy king Derik so desired, instead it was a girl, the queen named Katia. The king was outraged that the queen did not give him a son and vowed that if she did not give him a son with in two years that he would have her head. The Princess Katia was given the Chrisening of a Prince merely because that was what was prepaired and payed for. The king began to use his anger to destroy more countries and plunder their treasuries and murder their royal heads and clame the land in the name of France. The kings spending became over bearing manors, jewels, fashion, women anything he desied. Within a year of the Princesses birth the Kingdom was bankrupt, the people began to starve and beg in the streets. When the king was told that his subjects were starving he said nor did anything. By the next year the queen anouced that she was pregnant, the king was over joyed, and threw grand parties all over the country to celebrate the pregnancy. The queen in a bout of desperation ran from the palace into the streets of Paris running through the rain barefoot to the great cathederal of Notre Dome she callapsed at the feet of the statue of the virgin Mary she begged her for the gift of a son for if she did not deliver the king his heir she would be killed and more than likely the princess would be killed as well. The queen began her labor pains on the 3'rd of April 1627 and gave birth so a son. The king ordered grand banquets throughtout france, and letters to be sent to every courner of the globe to annouce the delivery of the Future king of France. But the joy was short lived the prince died 18 days after his birth. The king fell into a dark depression he began spending more and more trying to comfort himself he put the country into deeper debt, and forcing the government to only be able to supply old rotten food to the poor people of France. The people of France began rieting the palace ordering the king give them fresh food, and larger rashions. The king ordered the gaurds to fire at will. 4oo men women and children were massacured, and their bodies hung from the palace gates as an example to the rest of France. The king began taking his rage out on the queen, first he seperated her and the princess, sending the princess to a manor house across the country far from the queens loving eye. On the 25th of July 1627 he ordered the queens arrest, and locked her away to await her trial and judgement. The king had no intention of giving her a fair trial, he would fullfil his vow. The queen was sentenced to death after a two day trial. On the 3rd of August 1627 the queen approched the exacusaners block, in her last words she begged the people to rise up against the king, and place the princess on the throne. With one strike of the ax the queen was dead. The people did not do as the queen begged, they feared that if they gathered at the palace that they to would be masacured. The king married just three months after the queens death, a young woman named Jacleene. The king began his wars again this time expanding his countries bordered to the edge of the mediteranian, the only country that would not secume to the kings advances was Spain, the king only managed to clame a small part of the spanishes land in four long years of bloodshed. With in a month of his humiliating defeat by the spanish the king returned home to the palace of Bastille. The country now more broke and in debt than ever, began to calapse. The king fell ill with pneumonia the counrty prayed that his terorony would finally end, but to no avail the king recovered. For many years the kingdom continued to crumble thousands died of starvation or disease. The princess grew into a great beauty beloved by her house hold for her cairing nature, the king in hatered for his daughter refused to send any funds to her household ordering that she should be dressed in raggs and fed only one small meal a day and that she may not be allowed to leave the manor. Menwhile the king ordered a new palace be build, larger and ever grander that Bastille it was to be named simply Fluer Palace. The palace was to be built to the kings exact specifications, it was to have over one thousand rooms adorned with the richest and most expensive decorations and furnishings, massive gardenes were to be built an filled with only the most fashionable flowers and plants. Thousands of laborers worked around the clock to build the massive palace. Fluer was completed in 1633 two years after construction began at the expense of thousands of laborers deaths, and costing millions in debt. The king then turned his attention to an heir, the queen became quickly pregant, and on the 19th of December 1633 she gave birth a boy, Prince philip. The king ordered that the queen be locked away for her health in chambore palace. The princes bed was moved into the kings bedchamber so that every moment he could protect his heir, the hallways and rooms around the kings chamber were to be scrubbed twice a day, to prevent the prince from becoming ill. Once the prince reached the age of 6 the king began to groom him to become king. The king wanting his son to learn the ways of the world and how to do and get what he wants, began taking him to war sometimes allowing the prince to desied the deaths of thousands of prisonors of war. Ten years after the princes birth the kings heath began to fail, the king devleoped terbriculosis, for eight long months the kingdom again prayed for a final end to the terrable king, and on the 12th of Febuary 1650 the king died. The people were over joyed they began to dance in the streets, praising god and begging him to let the prince love and care for them better that the king. From the moment the king died the prince began barking orders, nothing stopped him for days from spending millions on jewels, cloths, and young men. The prince was crowed king on the 22nd on March 1650, and to the kingdoms despair his terony would be worse than that of his fathers. Kings Philips first action as king was for his sister the princess Katia to be imprisoned, and for her entire household to be executed, the king said she is nothing but the bastard daughter of a tratorus old witch, why should I pay for a house and servants for her, let her live in a cell with no sunlight and no interaction with anyone. The princess knowing that she would probably die, sold the few jewels and riches she had and gave them to the towns town crier telling him that if anything should happen to her that he should destribute the money to the people in the town, and to remind them of her mothers last wish. The town crier did as the princess said within a day of seeing her she was shipped away to a small island prison, he did as she asked and destributed the funds among the people asking them to remember the wish of the late queen. The people in love for their princess began to gather in the town square, vowing that they would fight in honor of the princess and that of the late queen, and bring down the king. Every resedent of the town began to march accross France to Paris gathering thousands of followers as they went, by the time they had reached the palace gates their numbers had reached thirty thousand. The pesants broke threw the gates of the royal palace ransacking every room in search of the king. The king was found in his bed chamber making love to three men at once, the pesants dragged him naked threw the streets of Paris to the Square. There they wipped him until he cried for mercy, then he was hung until almost dead then cut down, his privy parts cut off, and his abdomin cut open and his intrails burned infront of him, then he was beheaded and burned. The thousands of pesants at the time of the kings death cried out LONG LIVE THE QUEEN, and began to march tourds the princesses prison to free her. The princess was crowned Queen of France on the 9th of May 1650. The new queen imediatly began to try and repair the state of the country first by ordering millions in food for the people, destributing most of it herself. Queen Katia spent months feeding the poor, and cairing for the sick, even opening up the palace to the elderly and the orphans of France. With in a year the kingdom had began to rise from the ashes. The queen turned her attention to repairing the funds of France and paying its debt, the people of France offered to pay double taxes to help their new beloved queen, but the queen refused to take anything from the people. for the next ten years the queen worked endlessly on repairing the country, at the age of 26 the queen payed the last cent of debt, she opened the old palace of Bastille to be repaired and opened as a permanent home for the sick and homeless. She repaired the relationships with every nation that the last kings had offended ever returning some lands back to them, and reasurting their royal families. With in two years of the kingdom coming out of debt it was among the riches in europe, millions in taxes over flowed from the kingdoms coffers, and the queen began to wonder how she could spend her new found wealth, first she opened dozens of orphanages accross the country, next she tore down the slums of France and ordered new and better housing to be built and Given to the poor people of France. On the queens 30th birthday 1665 the people of france proclaimed to her that she was to be known threw out history as Queen Katia the Great, bestowing their love on the queen. Soon the queen would need to marry to provied an heir to carry on her legacy and greatness. She began to search every corner of europe for a match, but to no avail all of the princes of europe were spoild, greedy, and only interested in her weath and status. Then one day the queen was strolling thew her gardens at the palace of Fluer, and she met Misue' Mark he was no nobal or royal but they quickly fell deeply in love, the queen imidiatly proclamed that anyone of any station may married anyone of any station. The queen and her prince lived happily for another eight years before the prince fell ill, with tyohoid the prince died on the 13th of October 1675. The queen proclamed the day a day of morning. The queen slowly started her life again, but her broken heart would weight heavy on her for the rest of her life. On the 10th of July 1678 Queen Katia set out to visit the royal court of Russia, soon after arriving the king of Russia told her of the horable sayings and attachments their were to the name of France, all of europe called France the land of debt, and decadent land, the queen was outraged and soon after her return to Paris ordered the name of the kingdom to be changed to Travikis, Greek for strong, and cairing. With in a year all but Spain had fallen to her armies, Spain was loosing fast and the Spanish king offered the queen a deal, leave what was left of his country alone an he would send his heir to be her husbond, with a massive dowery of 5 million gold coins. The queen reluctantly agreed, and Spain was left with a small bit a land boardering the mediteranian sea.
