P.S.: I don't like the two other girls, Bijou and Arizona, I don't know, their tan doesn't look natural to me. It's a bit weird. I love Arizona's curly wig though. If it weren't crappy I'd get her for the wig and then put it on Tristen. :P Someone online actually did just that, this is Tristen in Arizona's wig:
Lol, thanks for your comment! *phew*! Actually I was sure I'd get Melrose, but now I'm more inclined to get Tristen (the one with the lavender eyes). I like her complexion and bright eyes. I'm gonna get a different wig as soon as I can though, the MT wigs are pretty crappy, or so I have read...
Mark.. you're gonna shoot me for this I guess, but tomorrow I'll be buying a Moxie Teenz doll :$ to see if I'm capable of loving a doll other than Pamela at all... they have inset eyes as well and although they're not nearly as beautiful as Ellowyne, they make a good cheap substitute for now to see if I'll feel something. Hope you don't feel betrayed, hehe.
I figured out that a new doll, with shipping and all, including the outfit and wigs, will cost me €20 more than buying the wonky nude doll on eBay. That's about 30 dollars. So... I'm going for a new doll. Tonight. If all goes well, if I finish some important study work today, I will allow myself to buy a new Feeling Drained as a gift. So excited!!!!!!!!!
Hey Mark, thanks for the info! Also thanks for the offer, but since I've discovered acrylic eyed Ellowyne I'd rather not go with a doll with painted on eyes. I'm sorry :). I'm sure you'll find good homes for them. I can't imagine how hard that must be though. I'd find it terribly hard to part with my ugliest Pamela !!
When I went to bed I've been thinking.. the cheap Feeling Drained is cheap because of the wonky eyes. She's 80$ (starting bid) or $90 (buy it now price), whereas a new doll would be $115. That's a difference of $35 max and I don't need the wigs that come with the doll, or the outfit. Would I be mistaken if I'd be better off buying a new doll and selling her clothes and wigs on eBay..? Think I might make more than that $35 even... What do you think..? I see lots of Ellowyne stuff on eBay, don't know how much of it actually sells ofcourse.
I'll have to get my doll from the States anyway by the way, I've seen a few Ellowynes in Holland but they all have painted eyes..
Oh I only just noticed you've got Feeling Drained as well! Oh my ! I think her face is gorgeous, I'd just rather see her in a blonde or copper/auburn wig. If I had more money I'd go for the At Wit's End doll :). She's got the perfect eye, lip and air colour :). Perhaps I should get her and then sell the outfit to get my money back... lol. Hey.. that isn't such a bad idea really. Haha!
Hey Mark, just curious, did you buy any of your Ellowynes with inset eyes or did they all undergo eye surgery? ;) How many do you have exactly by the way?
I'm still unsure whether or not to jump onto another doll.. I can't afford one right now anyway but I'm still wondering if I'll love her enough in real life.. perhaps I should just stay hooked to the charm of my little Pam Love collection.. but I'm just so curious.. I'm in love with Pullip pictures as well. Do the dolls look better in real life, or on pictures, what would you say..?

Sorry for all the spam, but... now that I've seen user photos of Wit's End (which were kinda hard to find..), I don't love her that much anymore:

I totally prefer Feeling Drained's piercing eyes.....
