Hello! I joined because I got a Liberace doll for Christmas and I saw the Libby-Scott dolls on here. I was so impressed I bought my own "Scott" which should be here any day. I have many dolls, some as old as 1902, some mine, and some I buy. I took lessons in how to repair dolls and I like to make their clothes. Thank you for your welcome! Kay
Lily, before today, I was only familiar with your blog. Today I just discovered your website with those really charming flipbooks. I especially love the "family album." How original!!! I have added you to my list of "Fab Favorite Resources/Sites."
Hi Lilly, I've missed you all!! After a computer crashdown I was able to recover my whole information. That means I'll upload the so much promised tutorial for the Monitor background tutorial, as well as many others I had done. I'm still considering opening the group. Let's see....
Hi Lilly, sorry I've been away for some days. I have the tutorial for the monitor shooting ready, Now I don't know where to upload it, hahaha! It's not about sewing so I was thinking about opening a new group for this kind of tutorials. What do you think?
Ha, ha, ha! you're right about that!! Hey, about the monitor photo shooting. Have you ever heard of blended exposures in Phtoshop? You don't need too much lighting, a couple of desk lamps in the correct position and a tripod is all it takes.
Hi Lilly and thank you for the lovely warm welcome :) I only just got back into enjoying dolls and sewing for my dolls and am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things everyone has been making and hopefully sharing a few things I make as well.
