Hey there, Tiny...Isn't it funny how we all have one doll that is precious to us, no matter what it may (or may not) be worth to other collectors?
DOTW Kenyan was the one that hooked my heart, and stole my soul. I saw her in TRU when she was first released, and I went head-over-heels. Never had any interest in Barbie since the last 60s, early 70s. I still have her (albeit changed dramatically as she's a work in progress ) as well as a second Kenyan I bought to keep NRFB.
Hi Tiny! Lovely to have come and join us.. Be sure to check out our brand new Welcome Centre for lots of info and help on getting started with the community and its features:)
so glad to have you join us !I think I was and still is furiously in love with all the bob mackie dolls hee hee even if I am not a barbie collector the Mackie style is... just my dream !
Hi there, Tiny! Ohmygosh I have my Mackie Neptune still on display in my curio too! She was one of those Grail dolls for me. Even though my tastes have changed dramatically in the 14 or so years since I got her (wow...has it really been that long?) I still love her dearly.
Welcome to the Doll Observers family, Neptune Sister! We're glad you found us!!
