Yaz'mine gave me some very good  idea to start with and I will try this.(fashioning the hair on the head holding with pin, then remove and sew the hair scalp)

I was thinking of trying to make a cap in rubber and glue on the hair from a hair ponytail holder that I removed the elastic band from

I do not mind , not combing or stylize the hair after I just want it neat and easy to use.

I have several dolls with no hair or really bad hairdo. 

re rooting is definitely not for me
