so now I will definitly try to use a normal invisible zipper and make it fit with soldering iron!! isn't sewing for dolls a fantastic way to learn new tools?

do not worry about your vocabulary Marcelo I am French...learn English in Canada (were I lived) and learned Spanish in Mexico (were I lived) so today I am living in Spain and believe when I say that my Spanish is faaaaaare from fluent hee hee

as both doll/sewing lover will manage to understand each other, I am sure of it!!

I USE ORDINARY INVISIBLE ZIPPERS, BUT AFTER SEWED, I CUT 1 CENTIMETER ON EACH SIDE TO 12" DOLLS AND THE SAME WORKS FINE TO 16" OUTFITS, BUT AFTER CUT YOU'LL HAVE TO BURN THE CUTTED EDGES TO AVOID THE ZIPPER "DESINTEGRATION" ,CAREFULLY BURN ONLY THE EDGE, IT'S NOT TO TOUCH THE FIRE (I USE A CANDLE) TO DO THIS, SINCE MOST OF THE ZIPPERS ARE MADE OF POLYÉSTER (IT MEANS, PLASTIC) IN A NO "WINDY" ROOM, TAKE THE CUTTED ZIPPER ONLY CLOSE TO THE HEAT, IT WILL "CURL" A LITTLE AND WILL NOT "DESINTEGRATE", IF YOU REALLY BURN THE EDGE, IT WILL GETS DARK AS COAL AND CAN LEAVE SOME STAINS ON PALE SKIN DOLLS.

BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE IDEA, I'LL FIND THE REAL SCALE ZIPPERS FOR DOLL CLOTHING AT:

HOPE YOU LIKE IT!
